Why it's important to know about standard of living

It is important to know about standard of living because it helps explain how well off a country is and that is helpful to know. It helps you figure out if a country is developing developed or a under developed country. It also tells you about their infrastructure, economy, health, and wealth.

The five themes of geography can be used to figure out things like the wealth of a region by figuring out if they have a lot of trade. If not they probably aren’t wealthy. Also the movement of people from one country to another could show you which country is better off. Also the description of the place could show you which country is better off.

Analyzing the world with the five themes of geography helps people by showing them how the world and lots of different places, and people are similar. Some cities like Bangkok Thailand and Nairobi Kenya could seem completely different but do a lot of things the same way. For example trade, government, and education system.

I believe place can be the most difficult to understand because some features were made by people but look natural so you can’t tell whether it is natural or not. Which can confuse the human and physical characteristics.

Basic map skills

What I find easy about basic map skills are that they are pretty simple and once you learn them it is hard to forget them. The thing I struggled with the most is the distance keys because they can be hard to interpret and hard to use. Basic map skills are necessary even if sometimes they can be hard because those are the building blocks for more advanced skills.
